That makes my 1961 F100 4wd look soft. I love it, congrats!
What’s your goal with it? Full resto? Clean it up and drive it?

Well the frame is painted and the guy did a lot of body work, that’s all primed and sealed, I have the proper paint for it. I will swap the gears to 4.89s in the summer so it can go 55 or 60, and maybe disks in front. Basically a military restoration to complete. I have the flathead in it, no swaps, just a gear swap. I will probably add a heater from a jeep etc... for comfort. I have seat covers. Oh I have a hard top too that we have to restore, those were deuce and a half tops modified for these I think.

I think stock military gears are 5.83, they top out at 45 mph with 37 inch tires. Dodge did make civilian 4.89 gears but they were rare, a place makes them every couple years and makes a pre order list. I bought the gears and have to wait til maybe June. But it will go 55-60 mph with those tires.
